Our next church planting incubator Starts August 14-15, 2026
The CTC SoCal Incubator is a one-year program designed to prepare, equip, and support church planters and revitalizers during their critical pre-launch and launch phases. Each module addresses the unique challenges of urban ministry, helping planters develop theological thinking, refine their ministry philosophy, and strengthen essential skills in leadership, contextual strategy, and planning— to plant healthy churches throughout Southern California.
2026 - 2027 Calendar
AUGUST 14-15, 2026 | Gospel Fluency & Renewal
The Incubator Intensive Launch begins with a two-day Gospel Fluency & Renewal experience designed to help participants deepen their understanding of how the gospel impacts every area of life and ministry—not just our initial conversion. Throughout these two days, we will explore the difference between gospel-centered transformation and self-help approaches to growth, while examining the anatomy and effects of idolatry, particularly the challenges commonly faced by church planters. This foundational experience is designed to foster personal renewal, spiritual health, and a stronger gospel-centered framework for ministry.
SEPTEMBER 22, 2026 | Personal Life of a Leader
Participants will develop crucial self-awareness skills essential for effective ministry leadership. Leaders will learn to recognize the vital connection between personal health and successful church planting, develop emotional intelligence to identify and process their feelings, and address personal wounds through gospel-centered healing. This session equips participants to understand their family systems through genogram work, recognize how these patterns influence their ministry, and manage leadership anxiety in key relationships during the church planting journey.
OCTOBER 27, 2026 | City Vision and Contextualization
Develop a gospel-centered vision for your city that reveals the complex forces shaping your community. Learn to identify cultural blind spots while growing in your understanding of local context. Master the art of contextualizing ministry approaches that allow Christ's message to resonate authentically within your specific neighborhood. Equip your church to respond effectively to the systemic challenges present in urban environments.
NOVEMBER 24, 2026 | Discipleship Pathways
