ED SALAS
Ed Salas is the son of an immigrant father and a lifelong resident of Southern California. He
earned his undergraduate degree from Biola University and spent 12 years in the corporate
world before pursuing a graduate degree at Fuller Seminary. For the past 34 years, Ed has
served in the local church—seven of those years as a church planter. He currently serves as the Spiritual Formation Pastor at Newsong Church in Santa Ana, a role he has held for the past 20 years.
Ed is married to his wife, Ginny, and they are the proud parents of three sons, three daughters-
in-law, and a very photogenic grandson. He is passionate about music, international travel, reading great books, and savoring good food—he’s never met a calorie he didn’t like.
